Children’s University
London South East Children’s University is an award programme that encourages children aged between 5 to 14 to get involved in lots of exciting activities to develop their knowledge and skills whilst increasing their aspirations for the future by participating in extra-curricular activities.
This programme works across Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich and is part of a network of Children’s Universities across the UK, so children can also earn stamps wherever they are in the country.
When children join the award programme, they will receive their own passport to learning and gain a ‘time stamp’ for every hour of activity completed at a validated Learning Destination. Each activity brings the child closer to a graduation certificate presented at a special university-style graduation ceremony. The hours continue to accumulate each year so that children can earn different achievement levels and awards, dependent on the number of hours they have achieved.
