Vision

Belvedere Infant & Nursery and Belvedere Junior School Governors and staff believe that all children should wear school uniform in order for them to feel part of our school family. The wearing of uniform reflects pride in our school and is chosen to be comfortable and practical.

Jewellery

Jewellery is NOT permitted in school. Earrings should be studs only (and taped over for PE if cannot be removed).

School bag

For Belvedere Infant & Nursery bookbags with school logo can be purchased from our school supplier: School Trends and for Belvedere Junior School, rucksacks with school logo can be purchased from the same supplier: School Trends.

Coats and winter outer wear

Children should wear weather appropriate outer wear for the time of year, even if it appears warm on arrival, the weather can change throughout the school day. Children can bring in hats, scarves and gloves. It is essential that these are also clearly labelled.

Labelling

All pupils’ clothing and footwear MUST be clearly labelled with their full name. This helps considerably when it comes to returning lost or missing items to their owner.

Lost Property

Any lost clothing/items will be placed in the lost property box located in the bike shed/lean to. All lost property is retained for half a term and is then disposed of if it is not collected within this time.
