Stingray Class
Remembrance
Children in Stingray class looked at pictures of poppies. They used a potato to print red round petals. They then used a paintbrush to add the stem to their poppy painting. Their poppy paintings were part of the children's 'Remembrance Day' learning.
As part of our Science topic 'Materials', children in Stingray class carried out a scientific investigation.
They wanted to find out which material would be best to make a waterproof suit for Traction Man.
The children tested paper, fabric, tinfoil and plastic. We found out that plastic was the best as it is waterproof.
Traction Man is here! Hear it read aloud on youtube by clicking on the image below. It is read by school children - perhaps you could read the book online and record yourself - we would love to hear your recording on ClassDojo!
